While I was home alone I had a lovely dinner for one with all the fresh produce & a few bubbles...delicious.

9/8/13 on the road again...Germany to the Czech Republic
Everyone is over eating out, so we have loaded up with some goodies from the local fresh food market stalls in the town square. We are craving salads & fruit, so now the larder is restocked we're on our way to Prague.
Nick is behind the wheel & in control, Andrew is navigator & road toll payer & I'm in charge of refreshments, entertainment & blogging.
Our Prague campsite has no washing machine & no power adapters, so the boys had to jump in a taxi with all their clothes & try & find a laundromat & hardware shop at 8.30pm. They had success only with the adaptor after Nick did some electrical modifications so at least we have power. This is the worst campsite we have been to, no toilet paper in the toilets that have no locking doors. The showers have no doors & you have to hold the shower head in one hand (all the wall brackets are broken) & push a button to get 30 seconds of boiling water & there is nowhere to put towels or clothes or anything? This leaves no hands to wash yourself & you do all this with an audience..fabulous!
This is the only good thing that happened in the horrible showers...I met 24 year old Helga from the Netherlands & what an Angel she is. I'm not sure how or why this meeting happened, but it was a very moving experience. I know that we are all the better for having taken the time to share some toothpaste, get rid of a spider out of the bathroom & shed a few tears together. It was one of those 6 degrees of separation things & really shook up the both of us. We will stay in touch!
