22/7/13 Madrid in Spain

First up we wanted to make sure that we got tickets to the best Flamenco Dancing in Spain, so we went to the main ticket selling office bright & early. After walking around the block 3 times we saw other people waiting in front of this door & they looked like us...lost tourists.

Rang the doorbell & the door opened...manoeuvred up 3 flights of narrow stairs...

& this is the ticketing office...yes back there somewhere on the right? No wonder they say tickets for the show are hard  to get, because they literally are hard to get.

Spain is a beautiful, clean city full of magnificent architecture & spectacular fountains & statues.

A statue of Neptune being pulled by 2 sea horses.

How's this, a fountain in the foreground & statues on a Palace...all in 1 photo.

A hotel that was once a Palace & look how clean & tidy & pretty everything is.

Glorieta Puerta de Toledo Arch.

A statue dedicated to Christopher Columbus & Queen Isobel.

Another Palace.
