Beachside camping Italiano style...not much sand, but plenty of marble!
2 contrasting modes of transport & the obligatory castle.
First stop...yeah it's pretty...pretty awesome! So when they apply for a building permit, is the criteria 'must build to look like postcard for tourists'?
Mr Happy Snapper...he took 300 photo's...this place is gorgeous!
Another selfie...get used to them?
Apart from the dodgy hat...Nick looks like he's a local.
I don't take good photo's, but I'm loving what my little camera is giving me.
So we're on a train (just like the kids ride on) & really loving the tourist thing.
Fresh fish...& he means fresh!
Ok...so do you get that this place is picturesque?
All the villages cling to steep cliff sides & now we know how they get the building materials on site.
If they find a rocky cliff, the Italians put a fort, castle or church on it...or all 3...of course.
Our love boat...& the water is crystal clear.
The next beautiful village...we had lunch here...delicious (sorry forgot a photo of the food).
The streets are pretty narrow. We were worried that after lunch some of us might not get back through the lanes. Oh no...that was just me!
This lovely decorative arrangement is made from pizza dough...looks great & smells delicious.
Andrew says that they look like Tweedle Dum & Tweedle Dee...mmmmmm?
Perched high on the cliff is...a restaurant...with (of course) spectacular views of the Mediterranean Sea.
Colour co-ordinated & set into the cliff...so different to home.
The Town Square of the 3rd little fishing village...I've got RSI from taking photo's.
Siesta time & everyone downs tools for around 3 hours...no matter where they are.
OMG...Nick has become such a local with this siesta thing!
Well, it's the end of a fab day. The boats pulled into the jetty at Massa & we are walking home because it's such a beautiful evening & we have eaten so much good food, we probably need the exercise.
Keep up the good work Tracy- It looks you are having a fab time! Quite a pace you are keeping too, bet you are exhausted each night.Looking forward to more of your adventures- love the selfies!
